European Research Day 2020 Malaysia / EURAXESS
The European Research Day with focus on Malaysia, was organised by EURAXESS ASEAN from 21st September until 25th September 2020. In 12 webinars, opportunities for research collaboration with European partners and researchers in Malaysia and the wider ASEAN region were presented.
One webinar was focussing on opportunities for international researchers in Austria. Ms Maria Unger of the Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research, OeAD, gave an inspiring talk about ‚Funding Opportunities in Austria‘. Participants from across the region also learned about the opportunities for collaboration with Austrian research partners in the framework of the ASEA-UNINET.
The ASEA-UNINET network and the possiblities for research collaboration and funding for member institutions was presented by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Mohamad Farizal bin Rajemi, Director of the Centre for International Affairs and Cooperation (CIAC), Universiti Utara Malaysia and ASEA-UNINET Vice-President and Regional Coordinator for South-East Asia, and Prof Yazrina Yahya, Deputy Director of the Centre For Leadership Sustainability, Higher Education Leadership Academy, Malaysia.
