Calling Application for CommTECH Camp Highlight 2020 // 29th January – 10th February 2020 // Surabaya, Indonesia

Continuing the success of 2012 to 2019 Community and Technological (CommTECH) Camp, ITS International Office of  the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is introducing the upcoming short program: CommTECH Camp Insight 2020, which will be held from 29th January to 10th February 2020 at Surabaya, Indonesia.

This program will incorporate Indonesian language course, traditional music, and dance classes. Tasting delicious Indonesian foods and visiting Surabaya community and main tourist destinations will become parts of the program.

The courses are offered in CommTECH Camp Highlight 2020:

• Sub Course A: Sociopreneurship in Action
• Sub Course B: The Biodiversity of Coastal Ecosystem
• Sub Course C: Build Your Own Boat: Designing, Building and Operating Unmanned Surface Vehicle

The courses are designed attractively based on Project-based Learning (PbL) method. “Think Loudly” is a term encouraged in the classroom interaction, in which participants are given great opportunities to articulate their understanding and opinions.

This program is open for active lecturers, non-academic staffs & active bachelor, master & doctoral students from any background are eligible for this program.

This program will be held for 13 days. The fee to join this program is very affordable, i.e. USD 1,600. The fee will cover airport pick-up and drop-off; accomodition and all scheduled meals; local transportation; course material; workshop tools and materials such as fabrics, t-shirt and backpack; and site visits. Please note that round-trip flight and health insurance are not part of the fee participants should arrange their own health insurance prior to the departure if needed.

We offer 1 full scholarship, 1 50% scholarship & 1 partial scholarship for your students/staff to join this program. We also offer discount when you send more than 7 participants.
