Online Survey on Intercultural Differences and Similarities

Students from Eastern Asia are warmly invited to participate in a brief online survey on how people from different cultural backgrounds perceive social situations in a different way. The study is conducted by Florian Nemetz, student at Paris-Lodron-University of Salzburg, Austria, within the framework of a master’s thesis in social psychology.

For any question please feel free to contact Mr. Florian Nemetz directly.

Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear fellow students,

Intercultural research is an important tool to foster mutual understanding and trust. Different disciplines and traditions of research are applied in order to study phenomena that might differ from context to context. One of those disciplines is intercultural psychology. My master thesis in psychology at the university of Salzburg, Austria revolves around how people from different cultural backgrounds perceive social situations in a different way. Knowledge about that can play an important role in preventing conflicts and in discovering improved avenues of communication. Therefore, I kindly ask you to participate in a short online-survey for my thesis, which would greatly support my progress in the understanding of intercultural differences and similarities. I would also gladly offer to assist in the conduction of studies or visits on your side. If there is anything I can help with, feel free to contact via florian.nemetz@stud.sbg.ac.at. I hope you do consider participating in the survey. Thank you very much in advance!
