EURAXESS ASEAN is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2019 Malaysia edition of its annual outreach platform “European Research Day: Europe – Open to the world”. The event will be hosted by the Asia-Europe Institute (AEI) at University Malaya (UM) in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, 27 August 2019.

EURAXESS ASEAN is an initiative of the European Commission mandated to promote researcher mobility and research collaboration between Europe and ASEAN. The European Research Day serves as a platform to inform researchers in Malaysia about available opportunities for research careers in Europe or with European partners.

EURAXESS ASEAN is seeking to invite Malaysian researchers with research experience in Europe / who are engaged in collaborative research projects with European research partners to participate in a panel discussion on 27 August scheduled from 9.20 to 10.30am. The title of the panel discussion is “Going global – How to build up an international research network”.

The purpose of this session is to share with the audience some advice on the importance of international collaboration for scientific advancement and career development.

The event is open to researchers of any nationality and any discipline at PhD and postdoctoral level. EURAXESS ASEAN expects attendance of up to 200 pax.
