Climate-Resilient Smart Agriculture using AI & IoT

As climate volatility rises, both ASEAN and the EU face growing pressure on their agricultural systems. This webinar will focus on climate-resilient and smart agriculture, linked to the 10th STI Call of the SEA–Europe Joint Funding Scheme that supports research and innovation in this field. The topic highlights the role of advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, drones, robotics, smart sensors, big data analytics, precision farming, and farm management tools. These solutions can help strengthen sustainability, support the SDGs, and drive more effective climate action.
The call welcomes proposals across a broad range of disciplines, including:
- Agricultural Sciences
- Climate Science
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Environmental Science
- Social Sciences
Participants will receive an overview of the call objectives, scope, eligibility conditions, proposal preparation and evaluation criteria. The matchmaking session aims to support the formation of high-quality transnational consortia between Europe and Southeast Asia.
Pitch Your Project Idea
Researchers from eligible countries (Belgium, Brunei Darussalam, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Malaysia (tbc), Philippines, Switzerland, Thailand, Türkiye, Vietnam (tbc)) can apply to present a 5-minute pitch outlining their project idea and partner search.
Each pitch will be followed by a breakout room for direct exchange with potential collaborators.
Pitch application deadline: 30 January 2026
Selected applicants will be informed by 10 February 2026.
