Call Announcement: Ernst Mach Grant – ASEA-UNINET Call 2025/26 now open!

On behalf of ASEA-UNINET, we would like to announce that the call for the Ernst Mach Grant – ASEA-UNINET for the academic year 2025/2026 is now open!

The Ernst Mach Grant – ASEA-UNINET offers scholarships to students and researchers with citizenship of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam for:

• a full PhD study,
• a postdoctoral research stay,
• or a study stay in the field of music practice

at an ASEA-UNINET member university in Austria.

The official grant announcement is published at the Austrian database for grants and scholarships at www.grants.at/en. Applications are possible via the green “apply online” button provided in the announcement.

The application deadline is 1^st March, 2025 (23:59 CET)! All submitted applications will be considered once the call closes on this date.

Information for applicants of the Music Practice Grant: The auditions process includes submissions of performance recordings via the application form. The deadline for Music Practice Grant applicants is 15^th December, 2024 (23:59 CET). Successful applicants will be invited by the audition committee to a mandatory online interview taking place on 20^th-21^st February, 2025.
