Scholarships, Fundings & Awards

ASEA-UNINET supports the exchange of knowledge between partner universities in the member countries in Europe and South-East Asia. The main activity of the network is the organization and financial support of the exchange of scientists and postgraduates and the transfer of knowledge associated with this.

ASEA-UNINET offers scholarships, funding, and awards to affiliates of ASEA-UNINET member institutions, including to students, graduates, and researchers. These are provided on behalf of, and financed by, ASEA-UNINET stakeholders, including the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF), the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC), as well as local university funding in member countries.

Funding programmes are administered by the OeAD – Austria’s Agency for Education and Internationalisation, as well as member institutions in the case of local university funding.
