We are proud to anounce that on November 23rd and 24th, 2017 Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) will host a special workshop on the topic of “Industry 4.0 – Current Trends and Strategies” in Hanoi, Vietnam. This event is organized in co-operation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and ASEA-UNINET, Austria.
The workshops aims at bringing together researchers and practitioners in the area of Industry 4.0, highlighting various aspects of Industry 4.0 including safety, security, dependability, networking as well as engineering processes – with special focus on the crucial linkage between information technology and manufacturing.
The workshop aims at a full and detailed discussion of research issues interlinking manufacturing and information technology as integrative processes that cover amongst others availability, safety, confidentiality, integrity, maintainability and security in this field of application.
The workshop emphasizes the interplay between foundations and practical issues of Industry 4.0 for companies, governments, universities and research institutions. It is devoted to the critical examination and research challenges of the various aspects of Industry 4.0 and the definition of a future road map.
