Call for Proposals: 2024 JFS Call for Science, Technology, and Innovation

The 9th Call for Proposals of the Southeast Asia-Europe Joint Funding Scheme for Research and Innovation (JFS) offers ASEAN researchers the opportunity to collaborate with their European counterparts and drive forward solutions. With a focus on the topic „Climate Change Adaptation and Local Resilience“, it covers three key areas that promote sustainable green and blue economies.

Find out more details about the Call, participating countries, eligibility criteria and application procedure linked below (see source page).

The Deadline for Submissions is approaching soon: Friday, January 31, 2025

The JFS is an instrument for the funding of biregional, multilateral research and innovation projects. Project funding is provided by funding agencies or ministries at national, regional or local level. Each country funds „their own researchers“ according to their own rules and in principle there is „no money crossing borders“. A typical project funded under the JFS would last for 3 years and cover costs such as personnel, (small) equipment, consumables, travel and workshops.
